I am finishing up my first Swift app for Thinkful, and in looking at Swift programs and courses to take next settled on Udacity.
Why?
There are many reasons. I got a great start in Swift at Thinkful and I am very grateful. Udacity will help me continue that growing as an App Developer, by covering topics such as networking with native iOS tools, in-depth debugging, and CoreData.
I have completed their mini-course on Swift Syntax, and am working on the first project for the iOS track, Pitch Perfect. I have learned about AVFoundation and how to manipulate sound files. I have also learned how to create app icons and use images in my app. The concept of UINavigationController is also clearer now for me than it was before.
I look forward to honing my Swift skills over the next few months! :)
